Managed backup for small businesses

Your business data should be recoverable—not merely copied.

BVeld designs, monitors, and supports practical backup systems for workstations and eligible servers. We focus on making sure backups run, failures get reviewed, and restores are available when they matter.

Serving small businesses in Central New York.

Services

Choose the level of protection that fits your business

Every environment is reviewed before service begins. Final recommendations depend on device count, data volume, recovery needs, and existing infrastructure.

01

Onsite Backup

A client-owned backup appliance protects selected computers over the local network. BVeld monitors backup results and supports restores.

  • Fast local recovery
  • File and system-image backups
  • Defined retention schedule
02

Cloud Backup

Selected endpoints back up directly to encrypted cloud storage without requiring an onsite backup server.

  • Useful for small or distributed teams
  • Offsite protection by design
  • Managed backup status review

How it works

A straightforward path from assessment to protection

1

Assess

We identify important devices, data locations, current backups, and realistic recovery needs.

2

Design

BVeld recommends an onsite, cloud, or hybrid approach with a clearly defined service scope.

3

Implement

Backup software, storage, retention, notifications, and access are configured and documented.

4

Monitor & Restore

Backup results are reviewed, failures are addressed, and restore support is available under the agreement.

About BVeld

Focused infrastructure support without an oversized MSP package

BVeld Infrastructure Services LLC is a Central New York business focused on managed backup infrastructure, backup monitoring, and restore support for small organizations.

The goal is practical: understand what must be protected, build an appropriate backup system, watch for failures, and provide a defined recovery path.

BVeld backup service does not replace endpoint security, patching, MFA, antivirus/EDR, firewall management, or a full cybersecurity program unless those services are separately agreed to in writing.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about managed backup

Is OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox already a backup?

Cloud synchronization is useful, but it is not automatically a complete backup strategy. Deletions, unwanted changes, synchronization conflicts, retention limits, and account compromise can still affect synchronized data.

Can BVeld protect servers?

Eligible servers may be supported after review. Workloads that require specialized, application-aware database protection may need a different solution.

Can employees restore their own files?

Limited read-only restore access may be available for onsite systems. Offsite restores are generally handled by BVeld so the recovery process remains controlled.

Do you offer general help-desk support?

Managed backup and restore is BVeld's primary public service. Other IT work is not included unless it is separately scoped and agreed to.

How do we get started?

Email BVeld with your business name, approximate device count, current backup method, and the systems or files that would be most damaging to lose.
